Good Morning!

My Morning Jacket sounds off
Well, the verdicts are in... at least from the members of My Morning Jacket. Upon receiving copies of the MMJ tribute album The Way That He Sings: The Fans Sing My Morning Jacket (Buddy is featured on track #4 of the CD), the reviews started pouring in:
  • From Patrick Hallahan (My Morning Jacket drummer): "I must give all of you props for seeing an idea through in any capacity, but on our behalf is just humbling. We've been talking about it for days. We played it at practice the other day. Thank you soooo much. Getting this cd makes doing this thing we do so meaningful."
  • From Two-Tone Tommy (My Morning Jacket bassist): "Thank you so much for your work on the tribute album. I finally got a chance to listen the disc in the right setting – just chilling in the morning with some coffee. I’m still amazed that all you great folks took the time to put this work together."
  • From Jim James (My Morning Jacket founding member, main songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist): "Thank you soo much for the tribute CD and the artwork - it looks and sounds fabulous. We are so very honored that peeps liked our musik so much to do something like this. It is soooo flattering and makes us all feel very silky and smooth. Please pass on our thanks to the people you know who contributed...its awesome."
Thanks, guys! That means a lot to Caroline and myself. Also, the message board at the My Morning Jacket web site has about twenty-four pages worth of reviews and comments regarding the tribute CD alone! Feel free to browse through them on your own, and leave your own comments while you're at it.
